During my oral surgery I could only eat baby food. Dr. Skigen recommended Carnation Instant Breakfast Shakes but Charlene would buy me Ensure instead, and baby rice cereal. I remember one time she brought home mashed potatoes from KFC. I could only use a syringe and dropper to eat it because my jaw would only open a little bit because of the screws. (It took so long to eat!) I still have scars from the stitches/suture. It had to be a month before I could fully open my mouth, and about six months to fully recover.
I like to cook as a hobby. My best recipe is probably cheesecake. One of the things I did not get to finish was making a laminated recipe binder for my mom and I to put on the kitchen counter in our home on Eve Drive. I did manage to finish a cooking blog, Test Chef. My old cooking blog is Pencake Butter on Wordpress.
