New Blog Theme and Sweet Tomatoes

This afternoon around 5 PM, I took an hour break to go on my computer. Although I had planned just to browse online and post something I had read, I decided to update my cooking blog first, with a template that looked more professional (because I like the look of this blog). Well, I only had time to work a little on it and before I knew it an hour had passed.

We went to the garden a little and my dad said we were going to Golden Corral once my mom arrived home. I decided to go, for a last meal with my family. I worked on my blog while waiting. Once she came to the door, I got dressed and Jessica decided she wanted to eat too. She insisted on to-go, but I wanted to share this last time with her if possible. We hopped inside the car.

On the ride there, Jes suggested Chinese food instead of Golden Corral, so we decided to go to Sakura buffet (the new one we had never visited). We did not know where it was located but I remember a billboard near the Olive Garden. If it was not nearby we could always go to the other China Buffet we used to go to next to Hobby Lobby/Outback/Chik-Fil-A and the store that sells puppies.

When we got to the parking lot of the old China Buffet, Jessica said it had too many violations such as roaches and rats. So instead my dad suggested we go to Sweet Tomatoes.

We ate at Sweet Tomatoes and it was very good. They served a turkey taco prepared salad, green pepper potato salad, Abondigas Locas with chicken meatballs, cilantro lime penne pasta, buttermilk corn bread, raspberry and sweet tea to drink, and a new type of muffin called Horchata. They also served chocolate lava cake and soft serve yogurt with Oreo topping (and chocolate chip cookies on the side)! I took one of the cookies for the car ride home.
It was a wonderful atmosphere that I did not remember from before. The menu online says they will offer dulce de leche soft serve from  May 7th to May 10th.

When we came home around 10 PM I decided to finish my blog. It has taken quite a while, trying to install a photo carousel and organizing a lot of my photos and computer files. I am putting the finishing touches on it atm (around 6 AM).

I also heard very nice music tonight, and I have made $0.22 on goodsearch.

Lazy Butterbug Studios and Last Chance to Go Crazy

http://lazybutterbug.blogspot.com/
Well I do not think I could have done it today. I had too much on my mind, in particular creating my own logos after seeing all the advertisements at Pizza Hut (receipt and pizza box), at Golden Corral, on television (Right This Minute), and in magazine articles. I wanted to create Butterbug Studios, and that is what I did today.

My new blog is http://lazybutterbug.blogspot.com/. Please visit this site when you get the chance. I have included the badge below each blog page (scroll all the way down).

Today my dad showed me pictures of flowers from my old laptop. Aside from that, I ate Golden Corral steak and fried chicken with rice, then had mini candy bars for dessert. My last drink was Brisk lemon tea. I have signed up to the Golden Corral community and that will be my last thing.

An Unexpected Visit to Charlene's House

So this is what Boo's new house looks like.
Today I woke up and decided I wanted to finish this blog for good, so I would stop thinking about it. Well, as I was working on my blog I was pulled aside by my dad and Jessica and they told me we were expected at Boo and Drew's new house (this house is a mansion). The drive there was very long and we had to wait a bit for Charlene to arrive. Dad took me outside the car to take a look at the shrubs in front of the house and the tree branches as well. When Charlene pulled up, she picked up the package of new roses that had been delivered to her doorstep. We went to the backyard to take a look at her collection of roses.

Crown Princess Margarita (not pictured).

Olympiad (left, red) & Christian Dior (right, pink).
Wow! She has so many. I asked Jes to take a picture of me in front of my favorite ones (Crown Princess Margarita, Olympiad, Christian Dior). Then I asked Boo if I could use her computer. She took me inside and showed me the rooms she was getting ready to paint, her art room and the whole house. I got to use her computer which has three screens that use only one mouse. We stayed at Boo's house for about an hour and a half. Then my dad and Jessica invited Drew and Boo to Golden Corral to eat.

When we got to Golden Corral, I ordered a sweet tea and piled my plate with chicken fajita, bourbon chicken with rice, fried chicken, bbq ribs, french fries, potato wedges, and two rolls (buttered and unbuttered with whipped margarine). I went back for seconds, to get sour cream I forgot to put on top of my fajita, and also chargrilled corn-on-the cob, macaroni and cheese, and bbq'ed pineapple. For dessert I had 3 types of cake: lemon, carrot, and chocolate. It was a very good and unexpected final meal.

Tonight I am putting the finishing touches on my blog before heading to bed.
